Feauturette of The Soloist

• Theo Soloist is based on a true story, which was then made into a book by gathering lots of newspaper articles.
• crew set of 50 people was used to make the set
• the producer had one condition, which was to use the actual people from the area (skid row) for authenticity. by doing this ithelped give the homeless people jobs, wages and develop and build skills.
• the soloist had no fairy tale endings, so that its not fair to viewers with disability giving them false hope.
• the actors got to meet Nathaniel and Steve Lopez, which gave them inspiration and so that they can create at realistic feel.
• actors would be fired if they were to 'play crazy wrong' because it takes up a lot of time, money and they will get offended.
