After geting insperation from XXL Magazine, I came up with a quick mock up, of a magazine front cover. The aspects I like about the cover, which I may consider using on my actual peice is, the way the lighting has been used on a close up image of Ice Cube, this makes it stand out and informs you that the main acrcticle in the magazine will be about Ice Cube. I also like the way the Magazine title 'STORM' blends in with the background, but comes to show in the light. However the downfall to this is that, you may not be able to notice it the name from a distance. The front cover is very basic and simply but looks very effective which is a skill used by many published magazine.
